Daveed's Bio
Daveed (the latin proununciation of the name David) is an award winning artist who began his training as an illustration major at the Ringling College of Art and Design in the early 90's.
He is influenced by the great figurative artists of the Renaissance as well as the Surrealists of the early 20th century and incorporates aspects of both movements into his work.
Daveed’s painting entitled, “Portrait in Sepia” took first place in The Art Center Sarasota juried show “Show Us What You Got.”
In 1990 he was chosen to create a logo to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
He is currently one of the rotating artists in residence painting LIVE at Cafe Barbosso in Sarasota, Florida.
